BEFORE
An unsightly, leaky, structurally unsound sun-room had been added by a previous owner somewhere along the line. This structure had to be completely demolished, and the owners wanted to expand the two bedooms in this location.

The extended roof matches the original structural design. The thin steel foundation keeps the landscape clear and open for the auxiliary entrance below.

Floor-to-ceiling glass brings forest view and pleasant Southern winter light.

The expanded upstairs rests on a light steel structure.
